Photographic Tendencies

Marilyn Manson, Audioslave, Nickelback, Velvet Revolver, Social Distortion, Papa Roach, Avril Lavigne, SUM41, Seether, Shinedown, Nine Inch Nails, Oasis, Alice In Chains...they all look into Tre's lenses.

Tre' Ridings, owner of Photographic Tendencies, began it in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Photography and Radio/TV/Film.

It was in 1994 when Tre' started shooting events all around Houston, concentrating on speed, accuracy, and bringing out the fashionista and rockstar in everyone he shoots.

Starting in 2000 Tre' began shooting under contract for the Houston Chronicle.

In 2001 he partnered with Catch The Moment Digital Event Photography, the world's leading greenscreen event company, developing greenscreen technology and shooting coast to coast from Los Angeles to Miami...bringing everything studied about and worked with in chromakey greenscreen/bluescreen in the college days.

Tre' has shot images for publications such as Vanity Fair, Bloomsburg Magazine, Wall Street Journal, American Lawyer, Food & Wine, and of course the Houston Chronicle.

While on tour with the Dew Action Sports Tour, NBC renamed him Rockstar Photographer Tre', which has been embraced by fans and is how he signs the occasional autograph.

Tre' is the official photographer of ClearChannel's 94.5 The Buzz and currently works with several other ClearChannel stations.

Everything is shot with the latest Nikon professional digital, 35mm, and Mamiya medium format gear. All post production is done on the latest computers and software. The best gear and the best talent create the best images.

Photography is not simply pushing a button on a camera...just as accounting is not simply pushing 2 + 2 on a calculator. Photography not only preserves a frame in time, it is telling a story just by viewing an image.

Whether it's turning event goers into rockstars or creating marketing and advertising imagery to capturing weddings to turning Moms into Models, it's done with Rockstar Flare...!

Will you shoot me for free?
Once in awhile I will shoot TFP projects, but with my busy shooting schedule I like to concentrate on paying gigs.

Are you expensive?
Granted, as we all know, you get what you pay for. However, I’m not expensive compared to my competition. I also work group discounts which is very popular with models, actors, & bands. Take a look at the 'Rates' section for current pricing.

Do you do ‘touch-ups’…?
Yes, post-production is done on all shoots. I tend to be very particular about my work, nothing leaves my hands before post-production. For every hour of shooting, it will take two to three hours of post-production to prepare each image for viewing and printing.
